Oil prices hit fresh 2015 high

May 06:

SINGAPORE: Oil prices rose more than US$1 to fresh 2015 highs yesterday, continuing a month-long rally that has been supported by a weaker dollar and a disruption to crude exports from Libya.
Oil bulls have pushed prices higher this week, after a rally of 20% for Brent and 25% for US crude prices in April, despite indications that the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries may keep production unchanged at current high levels at a meeting next month. Brent crude jumped by 97 cents to US$68.49 a barrel by 0652 GMT, after hitting a 2015 peak of US$68.67. — Reuters
