GSSG Partners with Octave Japan Co., Ltd. for Asset Management of Solar Portfolio; Adds Dedicated Resource

TOKYO, May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GSSG Solar, LLC announced today a new partnership with Octave Japan Co., Ltd. for the asset management of GSSG's growing portfolio of solar projects in Japan.  GSSG Solar is a full service solar investment and financial advisory firm comprised of a select team of experts with solar and financial service backgrounds.  The firm manages funds designed to generate capital appreciation through select investments in high quality solar projects worldwide.  GSSG has had a presence in the Japanese solar market for over two years and currently controls 127 MW across three utility-scale projects. 
Octave Japan Co., Ltd. is an asset management firm that specializes in real asset management for top-tier global institutional investors. The partnership enables both firms to capitalize on their complementary skills and experience for optimal performance of GSSG's existing and future portfolio. 
The two partnering firms are pleased to announce that Yujiro Hirayama has joined the Octave Japan team as Managing Director out of the firm's Tokyo office. Octave has hired Yujiro as a resource dedicated to GSSG, where he will focus on navigating local financing, development, and partner discussions for GSSG's existing Japanese portfolio of utility scale solar projects as well as the continued growth of the firm's pipeline of solar projects.
