Who is in the right in fracking debate?

I WAS pleased to read pro-fracking, anti-wind farm Independent Councillor Ioan Richard (Letters, June 3) is not a Ukip supporter, despite their pro-fossil fuel prejudices seeming to mirror his views.

I am wondering if, despite his usual aversion to "greens", he has returned to his nationalist roots and voted for the successful Plaid Cymru candidate Jill Evans, who has been busy in the European Parliament supporting the interests of Wales — opposing fracking and standing up against big business.
