Vestas China Wins 50 MW Order for Heilongjiang Province

Vestas, the world leader in wind energy, has received an order from a major Chinese customer for a total of 50 MW of wind energy. The order is for a project in the Heilongjiang province. At the customer's request, details about the project's ownership cannot be disclosed.

The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system and a two-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the turbines is planned to take place during the third quarter of 2010.
