Ontility in collaboration with Renewable Energy Stampede & Green Living Fair is offering a Solar Installation Training - Solar Electric Systems workshop from April 12th to 14th for potential solar installers.
Learning objectives of NABCEP Entry Level Photovoltaic will be taught at the training course and the workshop also includes professional training for 40 hours.
According to Angelou Economics’ December 2008 edition of Growing the New Energy Economy in Texas publication, the solar industry is set to grow to $74 billion by 2017 from $20 billion in 2007. As per a national survey from Solar Energy Industries Association and Schott Solar, it reveals that 92% of the citizens in America are of the view that the country should develop and utilize solar energy and 77% of the Americans think that development of solar power should be made a national priority by the Federal government. The poll results also reveal that almost half of all Americans are thinking about adopting solar power for their business or homes.
The course will be useful for any person who is interested in starting a solar power business or to work in the solar industry or in learning about solar energy. Participants of the training class will be eligible to write the NABCEP Entry Level PV exam. The training certificate will be given to all course graduates. The certificate is one of the requirements needed by some incentive programs to be a solar installer. In addition, the certificate also meets the educational requirement to write the NABCEP PV Installer National Certification exam.
