Qatar is eyeing plans to build a new receiving terminal for liquefied natural gas in Europe with Bulgaria a possible location, it was reported on Tuesday.
Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, revealed the plans but added that it was unlikely that the project would happen for up to two years.
“This is under study and I don’t think anything would happen before one or two years in this respect,” he said at a joint press conference with visiting Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
