Wednesday, 25 Nov 2009

According to statistics of China customs show China coal imports, after setting a monthly height of 16.07 million tonnes in this July witnessed tender drop in July and August and then it rebounded again in September to 12.25 million tonnes. In October, China imports of coal remained at 11.1 million tonnes, 2.2 times of the same period of last year.

As China coal imports of the first ten months had reached 96.83 million tonnes, it’s definitely a sure thing for the figure to surpass 100 million tonnes in the whole year. Additionally, statistics indicate that China coke imports in October stood at 11,400 tonnes marking a sharp increase compared with the same period of last year.
